OPEN SUBJECT

“OPEN SUBJECT” deals with those emerging landscapes as a nomad to the point of building a territory with no place, as an anonymous and open subject.

In our contemporary age, the relationship between the individual and society is changing because the concepts of identity, individual, and individuality are becoming meaningless. Like an erased identity, we rebuild daily a meaningless place that can belong to everywhere, excluding me from traditional networks of contention, as Bauman would say. However, in virtuality (particularly in social networks, where identity is built immediately), is where we become a significant subject, a data construct presented by the margins of a screen.

Without reference to place, without romantic exaltation towards modernity, (only presenting fragments of my reality as a nomad), we present an assemblage of emergent landscapes where the viewer is forced to notice the details that are normally lost in mere everyday life.
